Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester
Location: St Albans
Salary: £30,000 – £40,000
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 6:00pm

The Role As a Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester, you’ll play a key role in maintaining and repairing a wide range of vehicles, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs on cars and light commercial vehicles up to 3.5 tonnes
- Conduct MOT tests where qualified
- Diagnose and rectify mechanical and electrical faults
- Complete timing belt and wet belt replacements
- Perform vehicle health checks and safety inspections
- Maintain accurate workshop documentation
- Ensure all work meets industry and company standards
- Work collaboratively within a friendly and professional workshop team
What We’re Looking For
- Level 3 qualification preferred
- Strong Level 2 Technicians will also be considered
- Previous workshop experience within the automotive industry
- MOT Tester licence beneficial but not essential
- Good diagnostic and fault-finding abilities
- Full UK driving licence
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn and develop
