An established and reputable independent automotive workshop in Bournemouth is seeking an experienced Vehicle Tester / Technician to join its growing team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated technician who takes pride in delivering high-quality workmanship and providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Carrying out MOT tests in line with DVSA standards.
- Completing vehicle inspections, servicing, and maintenance work.
- Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults.
- Ensuring all work is completed efficiently and to a high standard.
- Maintaining accurate job records and documentation.
- Adhering to all health and safety procedures.
Requirements
- Qualified Vehicle Technician (Level 2/3 NVQ or equivalent).
- MOT Tester licence preferred, but not essential.
- Previous experience within a workshop environment.
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
