The Role
As an MOT Tester, your responsibilities will include:
- Carrying out MOT tests in line with DVSA standards and regulations
- Completing vehicle inspections and identifying any additional repair requirements
- Performing service and repair work where required
- Communicating test results and repair recommendations to the service team
- Ensuring all quality control and compliance procedures are followed
- Maintaining accurate job records and workshop documentation
- Keeping up to date with MOT legislation and vehicle technology
- Maintaining high standards of housekeeping and workshop safety
About You
To be considered for this opportunity, you should have:
- NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent
- Current MOT Tester qualification
- Previous experience working as an MOT Tester within a workshop environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Good customer awareness and professional approach
- Full UK Driving Licence
