A well-established and reputable independent automotive business is seeking a qualified MOT Tester to join its busy and growing workshop.

The Role
This position combines MOT testing responsibilities with hands-on mechanical work, offering variety and the chance to stay fully engaged in the workshop.
You will play a key role in ensuring vehicles meet all DVSA standards, while also supporting the wider team with servicing and repairs.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct MOT tests in line with DVSA regulations
- Carry out servicing, repairs, and maintenance work
- Accurately identify and report vehicle faults
- Ensure full compliance with safety and regulatory standards
- Support workshop productivity and efficiency
- Maintain clear and accurate job records
What We’re Looking For
- Valid MOT Tester Licence (Class 4 minimum)
- Level 3 NVQ (or equivalent) in Light Vehicle Maintenance
- Strong mechanical and diagnostic ability
- Up-to-date knowledge of MOT regulations
- Full UK Driving Licence
