The Role
As an MOT Tester, you will be responsible for carrying out MOT inspections in line with DVSA standards while providing excellent customer service throughout the testing process.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting MOT tests in accordance with current regulations
- Ensuring vehicles meet road safety and compliance standards
- Clearly explaining test outcomes and any failure points to customers
- Providing updates throughout the vehicle inspection process
- Identifying additional repair or maintenance requirements where appropriate
- Supporting colleagues with workshop activities when required
- Maintaining accurate records and adhering to health and safety procedures
About You
To be considered for this role, you should have:
- A valid MOT Tester licence
- A full UK driving licence
- Previous experience working within a workshop or fast-fit environment
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team
- A proactive and flexible approach to supporting workshop operations

- 41.5 hours per week
