About the Role
Our client, a leading automotive service and repair business, is seeking an experienced MOT Tester to join their busy workshop in Cheltenham.

You will be responsible for carrying out MOT inspections to DVSA standards, ensuring vehicles are roadworthy and safe while providing customers with a professional and informative service.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct MOT tests in line with current DVSA regulations and standards
- Accurately identify and report vehicle defects, failures, and advisories
- Explain MOT outcomes and repair recommendations clearly to customers
- Maintain accurate testing records and workshop documentation
- Deliver excellent customer service throughout the inspection process
- Support the wider workshop team when required
- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with health and safety procedures
Candidate Requirements
To be considered for this role, you will have:
- A valid MOT Testing Licence
- A full UK driving licence
- Previous experience working as an MOT Tester
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to vehicle safety
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- A professional and proactive approach to customer care
