Mechanic
We are seeking an experienced Mechanic to join a busy Service, Maintenance & Repair (SMR) facility based in Ballysimon.

Role Overview:
You will be responsible for carrying out high-quality servicing, maintenance, and repair work on vehicles, ensuring compliance with manufacturer standards and best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine servicing, maintenance, and repairs on vehicles.
- Diagnose faults and assess mechanical issues accurately.
- Prepare parts lists and labour estimates for non-standard repairs.
- Maintain accurate records of all work completed using job cards/DMS/eVHC systems.
- Ensure workshop cleanliness, security, and compliance with Health & Safety standards.
- Monitor stock levels for tools and spare parts, and manage ordering requirements.
- Respond to queries and liaise with relevant team members.
- Carry out roadside repairs or vehicle recovery when required.
- Support the Service Manager with additional tasks as needed.
Requirements:
- Fully qualified Motor Mechanic (QQI Level 6 or equivalent).
- Proven experience as a motor mechanic.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle mechanical and electrical systems.
- Full, clean driving licence.
- Ability to produce clear written reports.

Required Certifications:
- Full B driving licence
