About the Role
Autotech Recruit are excited to be supporting a leading main dealer in Tunbridge Wells in their search for an experienced and highly skilled Master Technician. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a respected brand with modern facilities, ongoing training, and a clear development pathway.
As a Master Technician, you’ll be the technical expert in the workshop, providing advanced diagnostics, supporting other technicians, and ensuring customers receive a first-class service every time.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out complex diagnostics, fault-finding and repairs to manufacturer standards
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to other technicians
- Ensure all work is completed efficiently, safely and to the highest quality
- Keep up to date with brand-specific training and product knowledge
- Support the workshop controller and service team with technical queries
- Complete all relevant documentation accurately and in line with dealer processes
About You
- Fully qualified Vehicle Technician (Level 3 or equivalent)
- Recognised Master Technician status with a main dealer (preferred but not essential if working at senior diagnostic level)
- Strong diagnostic capability using modern tools and equipment
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on first-time fix
- Professional, reliable and able to mentor junior team members
- Full UK Driving Licence
