LGV/Car Technician
Salary: Up to £18.50 per hour
Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00–17:00 (30 min lunch)
Overtime: Available paid at time-and-a-half
Holiday: 20 days annual holiday + bank holidays
Sickness scheme (employee & employer contributions)
We’re hiring an experienced LGV/Car Technician on behalf of a friendly, independent workshop. If you love getting stuck into proper mechanical work—not just servicing—and you’ve got a chilled vibe that still brings a bit of spice to the team, we want to hear from you.
The role:
You’ll handle a varied workload across cars and LGVs, including:
- Diagnostics and fault-finding
- Clutches, timing, and major mechanical work
- Full engine strip-downs and rebuilds
- Routine servicing and repairs to a high standard
What you’ll bring:
- 5+ years’ hands-on experience as a vehicle technician (LGV and car)
- Proven ability to go beyond routine servicing—clutches, engines, full rebuilds
- Team player who’s easy-going, dependable, and adds positive energy to the workshop
