A leading engineering and fleet maintenance organisation is seeking an experienced HGV Technician to join its busy Bristol operation.

Key Responsibilities
- Carry out servicing, maintenance and repair of HGVs, vehicles and associated plant equipment.
- Conduct vehicle inspections, brake testing and fault diagnosis.
- Identify repair requirements and report findings to management.
- Complete all job records and documentation accurately using workshop management systems.
- Ensure all repair work is completed to high quality and safety standards.
- Maintain accurate records of parts usage, inspections and completed work.
- Support vehicle uptime by efficiently managing repairs and defect rectification.
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.
- Comply with all company health, safety, environmental and quality procedures.
Candidate Requirements
- HGV qualification or relevant heavy vehicle maintenance experience.
- Previous experience maintaining and repairing HGVs, commercial vehicles or heavy equipment.
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
- Good understanding of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems.
- Full UK driving licence.
- HGV Class 2 licence advantageous.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Good communication and organisational skills.
