Contracts Manager
Location: Milton Keynes (HQ) – Fully office based
Salary: £36,400 + Monthly Commission
Hours: 35 per week, Monday- Friday (9:00- 17:00), with occasional flexibility required
Autotech Recruit, part of Autotech Group, is excited to welcome a new Contracts Manager to our Temporary & Technical team. In this role, you’ll take ownership of your own region, grow new business opportunities, and play a key part in supporting both clients and contractors- helping to make sure everything runs smoothly from start to finish.
What you’ll be doing
Client & Account Management
- Act as the main point of contact for clients, providing timely and professional support.
- Develop new business through outbound activity while strengthening existing relationships.
- Visit client sites to understand their needs and ensure service excellence.
- Deliver high‑quality customer care and maintain strong long‑term partnerships.
Contractor Support
- Be a trusted contact for contractors, offering guidance and resolving queries.
- Ensure contractor wellbeing, compliance, and safe working practices.
- Oversee onboarding, ensuring contractors have everything they need to begin assignments.
- Manage weekly timesheet processes and liaise with internal teams on discrepancies.
- Carry out regular check‑ins to support engagement and performance.
Operational Delivery
- Ensure timely and effective placement of contractors.
- Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date database records.
- Manage phone and email enquiries independently.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and support overall team efficiency.
- Meet individual targets and maintain accurate forecasting.
Teamwork & Personal Development
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to a positive team culture.
- Build knowledge of the automotive market and take ownership of your personal development.
- Demonstrate our company values and commitment to quality in everything you do.
What you’ll bring
- Experience generating new business leads and developing client relationships.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to adapt to different audiences.
- Confidence in influencing, negotiating, and managing customer accounts.
- Understanding of sales or recruitment processes, ideally in the automotive sector.
- Good commercial awareness, including basic financial understanding (e.g., margin calculations).
- Competence in MS Office and using databases.
- Strong organisational and time‑management skills with the ability to prioritise effectively.
- A proactive, self‑motivated approach and willingness to take ownership.
