About the Role
Autotech Recruit is currently seeking an experienced Commercial Vehicle Technician to join a reputable dealer site in the Huntingdon area. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled technician looking to develop within a professional, well-equipped workshop.
An MOT Licence is preferred, but not essential — candidates without it are still encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform servicing, maintenance, and repairs on commercial vehicles
- Conduct diagnostic work and fault finding
- Work to manufacturer and industry standards
- Prepare and present vehicles for MOT tests (if licensed)
- Maintain accurate work records and uphold workshop H&S standards
- Support the wider workshop team when required
Requirements
- Qualified Commercial Vehicle / HGV Technician
- Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills
- MOT licence preferred (Class 4/7 or commercial)
- Full UK driving licence
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality work
