Assistant Manager – Automotive Services

I’m recruiting for a growing national automotive service provider looking for a proactive and customer‑focused Assistant Manager. This is a great opportunity for a qualified Technician who wants to take the next step into management while staying hands‑on in the workshop.
The Role
As Assistant Manager, you’ll work closely with the Centre Manager and learn all aspects of running a successful service centre, including:
- Supporting day‑to‑day operations
- Assisting with people management and workshop planning
- Contributing to sales performance and customer satisfaction
- Helping maintain smooth, efficient service bay workflow
- Carrying out fast‑fit repairs or servicing when required
You’ll be involved in both leadership and workshop duties, ensuring customers receive great service and the centre runs effectively.
What You’ll Need
- Level 2 qualification in light vehicle maintenance
- Ability to carry out minor repairs/fast‑fit work
- Strong customer service approach
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn management skills
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities
- Sales awareness and a drive to hit targets
