Key Responsibilities
- Carry out vehicle servicing, maintenance and repair work to manufacturer standards
- Diagnose and rectify mechanical and electrical faults efficiently
- Complete vehicle health checks and identify any additional work required
- Ensure all repairs are completed safely and accurately
- Support colleagues within the workshop and contribute to a positive team environment
- Liaise with service advisors and workshop control to ensure a smooth customer journey
- Deliver consistently high standards of workmanship and customer satisfaction
Requirements
- NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent qualification)
- Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician, Mechanic or Service Technician
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
- Good understanding of vehicle safety standards and workshop procedures
- Ability to work efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
- Team-focused approach with strong communication skills
- MOT Tester licence advantageous but not essential
- Full UK driving licence required
