We asked Tom to share a few thoughts about being a vehicle technician and working with Autotech Recruit…
What made you become a technician?
It seemed like a sensible thing to do at the time, but I was just out of school and not that wise!
What is your favourite make of car and why?
It’s got to be the old, air-cooled VW stuff. Practical, simple, but still looks great.
What is the best car you have ever got to fix?
I have worked on some pretty nice and expensive Mercedes in the past but, again, got to go with fixing the old VW stuff.
If you weren’t a technician, what would you be?
Bourbon whisky taster?
What 3 words sum up your work with Autotech Recruit?
Flexibility, interesting and money.
What is your perfect Sunday?
Air-cooled V-twin motorcycle, the road, and the sun.
