Well done to Jason for being recognised as our Star Contractor of the Month for October 2019!

Jason is a fantastic contract vehicle technician

Jason is one of our most committed contract vehicle technicians. He has worked almost non-stop this year building a great rapport with car dealerships in our Central and South regions. Reliable, experienced and passionate about his work, we've come to expect only the best from him, and he never disappoints.

Congratulations, Jason! You are a true example of values that we want to be associated with. We’re proud to have you in Autotech Recruit's contractor network. Your £100 worth of Love2shop vouchers and a certificate of recognition are in the post!

Find out more about Jason's automotive career and what he thinks of working as a freelancer with Autotech Recruit...

What made you become a technician?

From a young age, I always wanted to become a technician. I have been playing with cars since I was about 8 years old.

What is your favourite make of car and why?

Lexus, having owned five of them. I still have two now.

If you weren’t a technician, what would you be?

I don't know! I've never thought of a different career.

What is the best car you have ever got to fix?

This is difficult... The most interesting fix was a broken timing chain on a Jaguar XJ V12; the best to drive - Mercedes E63 AMG, having to work on the Biturbos; Favourite one, or a dream to own, would have to be Lamborghini Huracan.

What 3 words sum up your work with Autotech Recruit?

Amazing, flexible and enjoyable.

And finally, what is your perfect Sunday?

Probably playing with one of my cars, followed by a roast dinner and watching motorsport and football.
