DVSA are in the process of replacing the online MOT history service on the GOV.UK website and the links to the MOT inspection manuals and testing guide within the MOT testing service.
This work is being undertaken because the www.motinfo.gov.uk website is being switched off due to the end our Atos contract. The new links to the updated versions of these documents will be back online ready for normal garage opening hours on Friday.
MOT history service
A new service will be available soon. This will replace the existing ‘Check the MOT history of a vehicle service’ which will be unavailable from 10pm Wednesday 23 September 2015.
In the meantime, you can check if a vehicle has a current MOT by using the ‘Check the MOT status of a vehicle service’.
MOT inspection manuals and testing guide
The following links within the MOT testing service to the MOT inspection manuals and MOT testing guide will be temporarily unavailable from 3pm Wednesday 23 September 2015 to 8am on Friday 25 September 2015.
