Autotech Recruit are pleased to announce the launch of a new division to complement their existing array of recruitment services for the UK automotive industry.

The newly formed Bodyshop Division aims to become a trusted source of both temporary and permanent technicians, estimators and admin staff for the body repair sector of the automotive industry. Based in Autotech Recruit’s head office in Buckinghamshire, the new division will be working with the car body repair market across the UK.

Continuous success of Autotech Recruit as a specialist provider of temporary contract placements of qualified MOT testers and vehicle technicians for national retail groups, dealerships, independent garages and government organisations, has inspired the company to develop the new side of the business.

Gavin White, Managing Director of Autotech Recruit, said: “We’d been driven towards this additional division and it was certainly in our long-term business plan.”

“Now a rapidly growing part of the automotive industry, the firm is witnessing an increase in the demand for bodyshop professionals – whether it’s from large dealer groups, national accident repair centres or small independent businesses.

“We’re always being asked for bodyshop technicians and we have the skills and experience in this sector, too – several of us in the business used to run bodyshops.”

Simon Fish, an ex-bodyshop manager, joins Autotech Recruit to head up the new division, bringing with him a wealth of experience in the body repair sector.

Simon said: “I am delighted to have joined a leading specialist automotive recruitment company like Autotech Recruit at such an exciting time having known them for several years. The addition of this new division brings even more value to Autotech Recruit’s customer base helping the automotive companies with their staffing challenges in different areas of their businesses.”
