Don't Forget to Register for Autotech Apprentice Event at City College Coventry

MOTOR-TRADE-OPEN-EVENINGOur Autotech Apprentice division creates high quality apprenticeship solutions, supporting colleges, employers and students alike. Acting as a facilitator between all parties, the team takes the complexity and time out of hiring apprentices, while educating employers on Government schemes and financial incentives, which are readily available to train the next generation of vehicle technicians.

However, while the automotive industry is booming, not enough is being done to ensure that there is a sufficient number of young people with appropriate training to feed this growth. We need good quality apprentices to be the skilled workforce of the future, who will be equipped to manage the dramatic and frequent advances in automotive technology. Consequently, we recognised a gap in the industry for a dedicated division committed to promoting the benefits of an apprenticeship programme and, as a result, developed Autotech Apprentice.

The skills shortage is especially felt within the Midlands so for Autotech Apprentice’s first event to be held in Coventry is a terrific achievement. The event, which is free to attend, is open to local garages and bodyshops in the area. We will highlight how to attract and develop the best young talent to maximise business potential, with top industry speakers from the Institute of the Motor Industry (IMI), AA and DVSA.

We hope that this event will be the first of many and will keep this site posted on future dates.
