This month Autotech Recruit celebrates the 5th anniversary of its founding!
The company was established in December 2010 by Gavin White, Stephen Hughes and Andrew Sly, who came together with a drive rooted in their industry expertise for starting a company that would help garages struggling with skill shortages improve their performance by providing services of temporary MOT Testers and Vehicle Technicians. What started as a home-based business, has developed into a leading staffing and recruitment agency, growing twofold year on year in terms of contractor numbers, turnover and gross profit.
Today, our services regularly help an array of clients all over the UK, including national retail groups, independent garages, main dealer groups and government organisations, filling both temporary and permanent positions nationwide for most of the leading names in the automotive industry.
None of the Autotech Recruit’s success would have been possible without our fantastic MOT Tester and Vehicle Technician contractor network. In 2015 alone they have completed over 150,000 labour hours and carried out nearly 95,000 MOT tests on behalf of our clients. Autotech Recruit has also placed nearly 1,000 skilled candidates into permanent positions throughout the automotive industry.
Our office team have been the company’s driving force for the last 5 years and have always worked to the highest standards. All of the company’s recruitment consultants boast an unrivalled experience and high understanding of both automotive and recruitment industries and are affiliate members of the Institute of the Motor Industry (IMI). From its inception, Autotech Recruit has closely cooperated with Driver & Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) and is also a member of Association of Professional Staffing Companies (APSCo).
