Contract vehicle technicians complete training BMW Group Academy

A huge congratulations to Gareth, Sam, Joseph, Luke, Abdul, Nishant, Robert, Riece, two James’, and Matthew on completing their 4-day training at the state-of-the-art BMW Group Academy UK this week!

The course was delivered as part of our Manufacturer Led Programme (MLP) and covered brand awareness, warranty process, tools, write-ups, electrics, diagnostics, and recalls, equipping our contract vehicle technicians with the essential skills required to work across the BMW dealer network.

This takes the total number of Autotech Recruit contractors we have trained at BMW to 51!

Would you like to know more about our Manufacturer Led Programme (MLP)? Read on…

MLP was launched by Autotech Recruit in January 2018 to cut the time it takes car manufacturers to employ temporary vehicle technicians throughout their UK dealer networks, whilst improving service capacity and counteracting the financial losses caused by empty service bays. As a result, in that year alone our contract vehicle technicians worked almost 25,000 hours across leading brands’ dealer workshops; the figure demonstrates the dependence UK garages now have on temporary vehicle technicians to fulfill labour gaps.

In the last 18 months, Autotech Recruit forged MLP alliances with BMW, Ford, VW Commercial Vehicles, BMW, SEAT, Renault, and Volvo, and since then the number of contract technicians trained and working within each manufacturer’s workshops has been rising steadily.

Furthermore, we are excited to confirm that in the next few days we will be expanding our Manufacturer Led Programme (MLP) as we officially launch our exclusive partnership with another major multi-brand client. We will reveal more details soon!
