Master Vehicle Technician – Coventry
Basic Salary: Up to £42,000
OTE: Up to £48,000 + Excellent Benefits
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm
Autotech Recruit is proud to be working in partnership with a prestige automotive dealership based in Coventry, who are looking to appoint an experienced Master Vehicle Technician to join their professional and well-established aftersales team.

Our client is seeking a highly skilled Master Technician to take a leading role within the workshop — delivering expert diagnostics, precision repairs, and mentoring fellow technicians. You’ll be instrumental in ensuring every vehicle leaves the workshop in peak condition, maintaining the exceptional standards their customers expect.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform complex diagnostic and repair work to manufacturer and safety standards.
- Lead technical investigations and provide guidance to other technicians.
- Support the workshop team by offering expert diagnostic insight and mentoring.
- Maintain high standards of accuracy, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
- Complete all service documentation and records in line with brand and company processes.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality requirements at all times.
About You
- Qualified to NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
- Proven experience as a Master or Diagnostic Technician within a main dealership.
- Confident with advanced diagnostic and electrical fault-finding skills.
- Experience working with modern vehicle technology, including hybrid and EV systems, is desirable.
- Holds a full UK driving licence.
- Passionate about delivering high-quality workmanship and supporting team development.
